Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Urgent2k platform operated by Excella Digital Limited ("Excella Digital"). By using Urgent2k, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. About Urgent2k
Urgent2k is a community-funded micro-grant programme that provides a one-time disbursement of ₦2,000 per eligible individual every thirty (30) calendar days. Urgent2k is not a loan, credit facility, or insurance product. No repayment, interest, or fee is ever due from a beneficiary.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- You must be a resident of Nigeria with a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- You must hold a Nigerian bank account or supported mobile wallet capable of receiving instant NIP transfers.
- Only one successful disbursement per individual per 30-day cycle, enforced by identity and device checks.
- You may not apply on behalf of another person.
- Providing false, duplicate, or misleading information will result in immediate disqualification and potential permanent ban.
3. Account & Identity Verification
To use Urgent2k you must register an account and complete identity verification. We verify your NIN against authorised national databases. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with any third party.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at help@excelladigital.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that fail verification, show signs of fraud, or violate these Terms.
4. How the Service Works
You submit a brief context describing your urgent need and confirm your receiving bank or wallet.
Automated checks confirm your identity, eligibility, and cooldown status. Suspicious requests may be flagged for human review.
Upon approval, ₦2,000 is sent via instant NIP transfer. Median arrival time is approximately eight minutes.
A 30-day cooldown begins. Early attempts are automatically declined with no penalty — only the timer resets.
5. Donations
Donors may contribute to the Urgent2k pool through our platform. All donations are voluntary, non-refundable once processed, and used exclusively to fund beneficiary disbursements and operational costs. Donors do not select individual beneficiaries. See our Donation Policy for full details.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Create multiple accounts or use someone else's identity to circumvent the 30-day limit.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or any non-human means to interact with the platform.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the platform's infrastructure.
- Sell, trade, or commercialise access to Urgent2k disbursements.
- Provide fraudulent bank details or NIN information.
Violation of these rules may result in account suspension, permanent ban, and referral to law enforcement where applicable.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Urgent2k platform are the property of Excella Digital Limited or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Urgent2k is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime may occur due to maintenance, partner-bank outages, or force majeure events.
We rely on third-party payment rails (NIP, partner banks). We are not liable for delays, failures, or charges imposed by your financial institution.
Disbursements depend on pool availability. We reserve the right to pause, reduce, or discontinue the programme at any time without prior notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Excella Digital's total liability for any claim arising from your use of Urgent2k shall not exceed ₦2,000.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Excella Digital, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or provision of inaccurate information.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. You may delete your account by contacting help@excelladigital.com. Upon termination, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention obligations.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of Urgent2k after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
